The Minister of Industry and Trade of the RF Denis Manturov signed an order to enter the machine building cluster in the federal register of industrial associations. Perm cluster has become the third industrial association in Perm Krai and the third agricultural machine building in Russia supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Machine building companies and manufacturers of components are confident that joining of resources will enable manufacture of highly-efficient and competitive agricultural machinery and development of machine building field in the region.
"In Perm Krai there are all conditions required to manufacture advanced agricultural equipment: there are manufacturers of machinery and components, dealers and suppliers of foreign equipment, as well as research centers. The cluster is a symbiosis of these enterprises, companies, and institutions. Joining of efforts can help in development of more advanced machinery complying with demands of farm operators", Dmitry Teplov, Director of Krasnokamsky RNZ and one of founders of the cluster, tells. "We plan to create highly-demanded agricultural machines not only for Perm Krai but for other Russian regions and foreign countries. We plan to develop export and cooperation with countries of the CIS and Eastern Europe above all others."
Cooperation within the cluster will allow increase in a number of scientific developments — annually it is planned to release five new models of agricultural machines and five modifications of existing machines. In addition, Krasnokamsky RMZ and other association members participate in a federal program aimed at development of labour productivity. It will facilitate increase in production volumes of cluster members — from RUB 1.5 billion in 2017 to RUB 3.5 billion by 2020.
Key participants of the machine building cluster are Krasnokamsky RMZ, Navigator-NE, Tekhnograd, and Bolshaya Zemlya. The association was joined by suppliers of components and three educational institutions: Perm National Research Polytechnic University, Perm State Agro-Technological University, and Institution of Advanced Training-RMTsPK.
The first meeting of the already official association will be held within scopes of the round table at Agrofest-2018 Exhibition on 19 July. Machine builders will discuss special features of digital technology introduction in the agricultural sector and application of innovative solutions in manufacture of agricultural equipment.
It is worth reminding that the machine building cluster of Perm Krai was presented for the first time in 2017 at AgroMash Business Summit. The regional government made a proposal to award an official status to the association and to register it at the federal level. In addition, last year cooperation agreements were signed with two field clusters from other regions — ALTAKAM Association of Agriculture and Forest Equipment Manufacturers of Altai Krai and the machine building cluster of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
