Workshop: Relevant aspects of forage conservation in 2019 season aimed to improve productivity of a milking herd, in Tatarstan

On 23 May in the Republic of Tatarstan the workshop on Relevant aspects of forage conservation in 2019 season aimed to improve productivity of a milking herd was held. Representatives of agriculture administrations and farm operators from all districts of the Republic participated in the workshop.

The workshop was held in premises of TMZ-Tatarstan, Commercial and Industrial Company.

Farmers were presented the Persmkaya technology of in-line haylage making. It allows farmers to minimize effect of a human factor on quality of conserved forage, to decrease dependence on weather conditions, and to reduce price of animal diet by over 10%.

Set of machines used to apply the technology is manufactured by Krasnokamsky Machinery and Repair Plant. It includes balers, high-speed roll wrappers, roll cutting machines, and universal FRONTLIFT loaders. In 2018 all machines were certified for compliance with standards of the European Union.
